Programs:SLV Homeschool is located on the SLVUSD campus, at 325 Marion Ave. in Ben Lomond (the old Quail Hollow Elementary site.) Our classrooms are room 14 and 16, with our Resource Center in between, in room 15.

We are a home and community based program offering parents and children (K-12) an opportunity to take part in individualized educational activities under the guidance of credentialed teachers. We know that family and community experiences provide a fertile ground for the education of our children. We believe that learning is not separate from living, support parents and students in exploring their unique interests, customize a learning plan that encompasses these passions intertwined with meeting the Common Core expectations of our district, and offer a variety of classes and other educational and social opportunities. We are parents and teachers who trust and believe in children. We know that children need time to play and imagine. We provide a homeschool resource center filled with books, instructional materials, games, equipment and like minded families willing to share their experiences. Classes are generally held in 6 week blocks, Mon.-Thur. with Fridays reserved for "out in the field" activities such as field trips, Capture the Flag, and County Park Hikes.

The Special Education Department provides educational services for students with identified disabilities. Students are served in a variety of programs according to their Individual Education Plans (IEPs). All schools in the District provide special education services in accordance with State and Federal Law.
