|Description:||Since 1891, The Salvation Army has been serving the Pajaro Valley, offering practical support, spiritual comfort, and a critical safety net to people in need. The Salvation Army serves thousands across Santa Cruz County each year through the broadest array of social services that range from providing food for the hungry, relief for disaster victims, outreach to the elderly and ill, transitional housing for those in recovery, and opportunities for underprivileged children.

|Programs:||Salvation Army Watsonville Corps serves those in need on daily basis through social service programs:
The Corner House, a 18-bed permanent housing facility dedicated to serving single mothers in drug and alcohol recovery. The program helps the mothers maintain sobriety and achieve independence while raising and supporting their children.
A daily meal program, providing breakfast and dinners to those in need.
Emergency assistance through the Family Services Department including a weekly food pantry, utility assistance, and referrals. As support allows, the Family Services Department will also provide homeless prevention services and bus passes.
Seasonal assistance is provided to bring some extra joy to a low income individuals or families during the holiday season. As available, Thanksgiving and Christmas meals are provided, and Christmas toys are distributed to children.
Spiritual counseling and fellowship programs are offered in addition to Sunday worship services.
Missing Persons Assistance: The Salvation Army provides special services to reunite families and loved ones. For more information, contact our office.
