|Description:||Project Purr is an all-volunteer 501(c)3 nonprofit FERAL cat/kitten advocate and rescue organization.
We have a FERAL cat low cost spay/neuter Trap/Spay-Neuter/Return (TNR) program for all residents of Santa Cruz County, regardless of income:
East Lake Animal Clinic, 740 East Lake Ave., Watsonville. Open 7 days a week, 7am - 8pm.
Animal Hospital of Soquel, 2651 Soquel Ave., Santa Cruz. Open Monday-Friday, 8am-6pm
Project Purr is not an animal shelter or cat adoption agency - although Project Purr does sometimes have cats/kittens available for adoption. Please check our website for more information.
|Programs:||Our fundraising rummage sales, which fund our low cost spay/neuter program for feral cats, are held near Memorial Day and Labor Day each year, so if you would like to volunteer and/or donate, please contact us at 831-423-6369.
"Rescued Treasures" is a resale shop supporting Project Purr located at 325 Front St., Santa Cruz
|Volunteer Info:||Project Purr needs more responsible trappers for spay-neuter. We will train you and provide equipment. Also looking for Cat Captains to be lead and information gathering and sharing sites for stray/free-roaming/feral cats in neighborhoods.|
