Description:Preserves San Lorenzo Valley history through the collections and education. Owns and manages the San Lorenzo Valley Museum housed in the Grace Episcopal Church built in 1906 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.

FEES: Museum is free.
Annual Membership: $25/individual, $40/family. Lifetime Membership, $250/individual, $400/family
Mission:Our mission is to preserve the history of the San Lorenzo Valley through collecting and exhibiting artifacts, gathering historical information, and providing education through the San Lorenzo Valley Museum and our educational outreach programs.
Programs:Annual events include Fundraiser Dinner and Auction, Community BBQ, Evening Lecture Fundraiser, Models & Miniatures Exhibition, Veterans Day Dinner, and Children's Christmas Tree Trimming. Educational outreach includes docent-led fieldtrips through museum exhibits for public, private, charter, and home schools, adult and school docent-led walks of downtown Boulder Creek and surrounding area, and a series of historical talks and walks by local historians.
Meetings:4th Wednesday of each month, 6:00pm in the SLV Museum. Public is always welcome
Volunteer Info:Greeter / Docent: Greets welcome visitors and ensure they sign Visitor Register while docents explain exhibits and handle bookstore sales. Event assistance: Help with event publicity as well as during event. Admin assistance: Assist with filing, phone, data entering, quarterly newsletter mailing, and organizing. Retail sales: Contact retail seller for reordering, prepare and deliver books and track sales. Volunteer docent coordinator: Schedule docent coverage for museum open days and maintain docent calendar. Volunteer coordinator: Contact and schedule volunteers when needed for various events.
