|Description:||The Santa Cruz Children's Museum of Discovery (MOD for short) is an emerging museum in the planning stages that will be housed in a permanent facility in Santa Cruz County. Children and families will share fun, hands-on experiences that encourage curiosity, exploration, skills development and creativity. MOD's interactive exhibits and programs will highlight the distinctive features of our community in the following themed areas: agriculture and health, redwood forest, harbor and marine, technology and innovation, and recreation as well as providing a dedicated toddler area.
