Description:The Santa Cruz Children's Museum of Discovery (MOD for short) is an emerging museum in the planning stages that will be housed in a permanent facility in Santa Cruz County. Children and families will share fun, hands-on experiences that encourage curiosity, exploration, skills development and creativity. MOD's interactive exhibits and programs will highlight the distinctive features of our community in the following themed areas: agriculture and health, redwood forest, harbor and marine, technology and innovation, and recreation as well as providing a dedicated toddler area. Mission: The Santa Cruz Children's Museum of Discovery will provide hands-on experience, engagement and enrichment for children and their adults through dynamic, interactive exhibits that incorporate the wonders of the natural, cultural and scientific world.
Programs:We have traveling exhibits and offer classes through Cabrillo College extension. We can bring our exhibit prototypes to your event.
