Description:Nourishing Generations offers hands on, dynamic classes that encompass healthy food preparation, culinary skills and fun, fitness activities lead by certified nutrition consultants, natural chefs and fitness trainers.

ELIGIBILITY: Our program is available to schools, housing communities, private groups, etc.
Mission:Nourishing Generations is a nonprofit dedicated to educating and motivating children, families, and community members of all ages about cooking and eating a healthy, whole foods diet, and enjoying regular exercise - to maximize optimal health and minimize disease.
Programs:We offer broad based empowering programs, from one–hour presentations to six-week intervention programs on healthy cooking, healthy eating and healthy moving.
Our classes are enhanced by the participation of trained volunteer mentors from the community and local high schools and colleges.
We are linking professionals and community members to bring about needed positive changes that will help reverse the rising trend of childhood obesity and diabetes.
