FUNDING SOURCE: A self-supporting branch of UCSC,
the collections are supported by memberships in the Friends of the Arboretum, annual Fall and Spring Plant Sales, annual Gift and Wreath Sale, proceeds from Norrie's Gift and Garden Shop (open every day 10am-4pm), admission fees, and support from our donors.
Programs:Facilities for growing plants offer students and research faculty opportunities to experiment with living plants. The Arboretum maintains collections of rare and threatened plants of unusual scientific interest.

Arboretum events educate and engage the public about plant diversity and conservation. Many of the Arboretum's activities and programs are described in the Bulletin.
