Description:Our Early Education centers provide a child-centered emergent curriculum with a focus on learning through play and exploration. The curriculum encompasses activities that support the child’s growth in the following domains: social, emotional, physical and intellectual. The staff of the centers is here to support parents in your role as your child’s first and primary teacher. We encourage and look forward to your involvement in the caring for and education of your child. This is your center.

ELIGIBILITY: 2 years to entering kindergarten
Volunteer Info:Minimum Age: 14. Read books to children. Help care for kids at the child care program for the Walnut Avenue Women's Center. Gardening and outside clean up help is also needed. Contact Cathy Lusk 426-3062 or clusk@wawc.org
