|Description:||Our programs began on the corner of Coral and River Street in Santa Cruz in the 1980s as a loosely affiliated group of faith-based and secular organizations providing basic food and shelter to people experiencing homelessness. They have evolved into four emergency and transitional housing shelters for nearly 230 people, a medical clinic, and a 12-bed medical respite care facility.

Paul Lee Loft-Year round shelter for 50 people
Page Smith Community House-up to 18 months of supportive housing for 40 people
Rebele Family Shelter-emergency shelter for 28 households with children
RECUPERATIVE CARE CENTER-a medical respite program for 12 homeless individuals discharged from inpatient stays at local hospitals

HOMEWARD BOUND provides bus tickets for participants who have verified housing opportunities with family members or employment opportunities somewhere else in the county.
INTAKE & VI-SPDAT (Vulnerability Index - Service Prioritization Decision Assistance Tool) SURVEY:
Drop-in survey hours: 1pm to 4pm Monday-Friday
designed to be used to quickly assess the vulnerability, health and social needs of homeless persons and match them with the most appropriate support and housing interventions available.
COMMUNITY SERVICE/VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:
a diverse set of volunteer opportunities that also provide experience to improve the pathway to employment.
WORKSHOPS and SUPPORT GROUPS: address addiction, trauma, safety and general self-care.
When applicable to the needs of participants, we provide referrals to other agencies.
