Description:The Downtown Branch contains the largest collection of any branch in the library system, with over 215,000 items, and includes a California History and Genealogy Room used extensively by a number of researchers.

Provides library materials and services to all county residents, including information services, children's services, and services to the home-bound. The library circulates books, periodicals, cds, dvds, large print books, and paperbacks.
