Description:Provides services (resources, training, activities) to blind and visually impaired. Offers counseling and aid in adaptive daily living skills to vision-impaired lifestyle. As well as orientation and mobility training.

ELIGIBILITY: Blind or partially sighted i.e. vision loss that cannot be corrected with glasses. Call for information.
Mission:Empowering individuals who are blind or visually impaired to embrace life to the fullest by serving individuals of all ages, living in San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz and San Benito Counties, who are threatened by loss of independence due to moderate or severe vision impairment.
An experienced social services staff member meets with each client, provides information about the services available at Vista Center, and connects clients to the appropriate Vista Center services.


LIVING WITH LOW VISION: Choices and Changes is a four-week education/orientation program that is available to adults with visual impairments and their family members.
