The Art League is a place for the public to view the variety of local artists who exhibit and sell their work. All media, styles, some exhibitions local, some national. In addition to exhibitions, the Art League provides the opportunity for artists to interact with other professionals and presents demonstrations and classes/workshops throughout the year. The Art League is a member-supported organization and provides the artist/community with over 13 exhibitions a year, ongoing classes and weekend workshops.
ELIGIBILITY: Active membership dues are $75 per year for artists and community members, $50 for seniors and students. This entitles member to a quarterly newsletter, Images of your work on our Member Artists page, lobby space is open for monthly individual member shows, discounts on entry fees, announcements of shows and events, discounts on art purchases and workshops, and opportunities to participate on committees.

|Programs:||Approximately twelve art shows are held each year, some for members, some juried, and some invitational. We hold three-hour, five- to six-week long classes and monthly weekend workshops throughout the year, as well as children's theater classes, theater productions, and monthly book readings and signings by local authors.|

For instance, we rely on volunteer docents to greet and guide the public.
Volunteers have fun helping with exhibits, receptions, and special events
such as our annual fund-raising art auction.
