Description:Encompass Community Services (formerly Santa Cruz Community Counseling Center), a California 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, has been serving Santa Cruz County since 1973.

This year we served over 7,500 Santa Cruz residents with culturally-sensitive, bilingual services. We do this through our four service components:

Child and Family Development Programs (CDFP) unite staff, families and the community in the development of services focusing on the well-being of children. (831) 688-3802/724-3885

Youth Services offers a broad spectrum of services that help heal and nurture the mental and social well-being of children, youth and families. (831) 688-8856 x0(831) 429-8350 x0

Community Support Services serves individuals who are challenged by loss, poverty, and stigma associated with a diagnosis of mental illness, HIV/AIDS or experience as a foster youth.

Community Recovery Services provides outpatient and residential drug and alcohol treatment and counseling services at 6 facilities in both Santa Cruz and Watsonville. 831-423-2003

FUNDING SOURCE: Encompass programs are funded through a wide variety of funding sources, including government entities at the school district, city, county, state, and federal levels. Funds for services also come from foundations, corporations, service clubs, third party insurers, and individual clients
