The Boys & Girls Club of Santa Cruz is a youth development organization dedicated to promoting the educational, vocational, social and character development of girls and boys ages 6 to 18. The Club offers structured after school programs, special interest classes and drop in opportunities for youth and teens.

During the school year the Club is open from 2-7pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and 12:30pm -7pm, Wednesday.

During holidays and vacations, we are open from 7:30am-6pm.

Any variation in this schedule will be posted for parents and members well in advance.

Office hours are from 9:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday.

ELIGIBILITY: Ages 6-18, no residency requirement

FUNDING SOURCES: Auction, Golf Tournament, Foundations, Individual/Business donations and special events.
Mission:To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
Learning Center, Power Hour: Making Minutes Count and Computer Lab

Athletics & Aquatics:
Tag, Dodge ball, Basketball, Rope Skipping, Double Dutch, Running Bases,Capture the Flag, Kickball, Basketball, Dodgeball, Flag Football, Volleyball, Wiffleball, Frisbee Football and Aquatics

Art & Music: crafts, woodworking, sewing, knitting, painting, clay sculpturing, and drawing.

Teens ages 12 & up have a large room at the downtown Club dedicated just for them. The teen room is equipped with Apple I-Mac computers for research and homework, as well as an XBox for gaming and watching movies.

Programs:Power Hour, Netsmartz Internet Safety Workshops, Gardening, Passport to Manhood (boys-only club for ages 12 and up), SMART Girls (girls-only club for ages 12 and up, Friday Night Live, Skate Club, Club Cafe, The Club at Live Oak
